Profile

Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1972.
SHIHOMI studied 3D animation in Los Angeles and worked as an animator for 4 years.
After 6 months in Italy, she suddenly decided to back to Los Angeles for her art and design career.
Since 2003 she works for Sama Eyewear (www.samaeyewear.net) located in West Hollywood, CA as Art Director.
Animated expression based on her career as animator and color translate SHIHOMI's unique character.
Her artwork is selected Best Illustrator 200 by ARCHIVE.


１９７２年　東京に生まれる。
３Dアニメーションをロサンジェルスで勉強したSHIHOMIはその後、アニメーターとして日本で活動する。
２００２年、６ヶ月のイタリア遊学後、突如アメリカに行く事を決意しロサンジェルスに移動。
現在ウエストハリウッド在住し、SAMA EYEWEAR　www.samaeuewear.net にて
アートディレクターとして活躍中。

SHIHOMIのアートワークはARCHIVEにてBest Illustorator 200に選ばれる。

 

About Giraffangelo ---Giraffangeloについて---

Giraffangelo is a mysterious giraffe shape animal with wings.
When they get mature, they are quiet, but when they are young, they are very curious and fly everywhere no stop!
Giraffangelo is named from Italian Giraffe and angel.
I donﾕt know if Giraffangelo is angel or not but, I guess, ancient people thought them giraffe flying like an angel.
Giraffangelo knows Human been very well. Giraffangelo who have stayed and watched human being and beautiful blue earth since millions of years love us. And they always want to help us. They know our beauty, strength, truth and potential power so they feel sad when they see somebody who does not like oneself or who has difficult time and pain with no reason.
Giraffangelo gives us many hints to realize light and live inside us.
Giraffangelo teaches us that we are connected as one.
Giraffangelo tells us that each person is very important and has big role in this universe.
They tell us in many waysﾉwith song, music, painting, words and so onﾉ.
This is the Giraffangelo Project.

 
Giraffangelo（ジラッファンジェロ）はキリンに羽が生えた不思議な動物。
大人になるととっても穏やかだけど、子供の頃は好奇心旺盛であっちこっち飛びまわってる。Giraffangelo（ジラッファンジェロ）の名前の由来はイタリア語でキリンのGIRAFFAと天使のANGELOだと聞いた。ジラッファンジェロが天使かどうかなんて分からないけど、きっと昔の人が天使みたいに飛び回るキリンだと思ってつけたのかな？
Giraffangeloは人間のことを本当によく知っている。もう何万年も前から人間と地球を見てきた彼らは人間とこの青い地球が大好きで、いつも僕らの役に立ちたいと思ってる。彼らは人間の素晴らしさや強さ、真実や可能性をよく知っている。
だから、それに気がつかないで自分を嫌いになっちゃう人や理由なく辛い気持ちや痛い思いをもってる人をみるとたまらなくなる。
Giraffangeloは僕ら人間の中にある光と愛に気がついてもらおうと沢山のヒントをくれる。
Giraffangelo は皆はつながっていて一つだって事も教えてくれる。
Giraffangeloは一人一人が大事な存在で大きな役割を持ってることも教えてくれる。
それは色んな形で教えてくれる、伝えてくれる。
時には歌で、時には絵で、時には言葉で、時には音楽で・・・。
これがGiraffangeloのプロジェクト。
